How many times can I use the plastic insertion/extraction tool ? What is the precaution to use the tool?
The standard plastic tools are designed (in normal use) for 5 to 10 manoeuvres depending on the operator. If you notice that the tip of the tool is blunt, broken, you must change it. Smaller tools are more fragile.
How to recognize the tools for "Insertion" and "Extraction"?
Each Insert/Extract tool has a color. Please consult the catalogue.
The colored side must be used to insert the contact in the cavity.
The white side must be used to remove the contact from the cavity.
